Quietly Becoming

A tender record of my stumbling, sacred progress through grief, healing, faith, and beginning again.

About

Quietly Becoming is my unfolding story of healing after hard seasons, learning to listen for God in the quiet, and choosing small, faithful steps toward wholeness, joy, and a gentler way of being.

A small potted olive tree with slender, silvery-green leaves stands on a narrow balcony ledge, its terracotta pot lightly weathered with pale mineral traces. Beyond it, an urban skyline melts into an abstract blur of soft blues and warm grays, suggesting distance without distraction. Early evening overcast light wraps the scene in gentle, diffused brightness, giving each leaf a delicate, matte texture and casting only the faintest shadow beneath the pot. Photographed from a slightly low angle with the tree placed in the lower right third, the composition emphasizes upward growth and quiet perseverance. Photographic realism with a minimalist, sophisticated aesthetic, evoking a mood of hopeful transition, healing, and new beginnings blooming in the midst of ordinary life.
